Exciting Story from Summer

I could barely see the rocks. All I knew were that they were sharp, I forgot my shoes, and my phone-flashlight isn't helping much. "Hey how much farther?" I hear. "I can't see to the end!" I shout over the waves crashing on the rocks beneath us. Whenever I came to the beach I was expecting to be in this situation. My friend, Parsa, and I had walked 3 miles to come to these huge rocks that went out about half a mile into the ocean. So, we left the condo at night to try and get across these. The problem was these were all different sizes and were all jagged and misplaced. "Hey watch out for this!" I hear. Then I fall. "Jack?" I hear. Dazed, I realized that I had fallen onto a smooth rock and almost fallen onto an extremely sharp rock. I manage to get up and then climb up to where Parsa is. "You good?" "Yeah, lets just get to the end of this." It only takes us about 10 minutes to get to the end of the rocks. And after

The Revenge of Seven Response 1

This book, The Revenge of Seven, is about a group of kids who's planet was destroyed. They fled to earth to escape, but were followed by the people following them: the Mogadorians. This leads to a very action-packed booked, especially alter on in the series were everyone teams up to fight. At the very start of  The Revenge of Seven , one of the main characters to want revenge. This leads to a very interesting plot, because the revenge-seeking character, Seven, goes to take all of her enemies on by herself. There's really just one possible theme in this book:  to learn to move on and cope with your problems. This is because while seven is becoming a loose cannon, the rest of the team is constantly trying to help her calm down and think before acting.

The Fall of Five Response 1

The Fall of Five was all together a really good book. One thing I noticed about this book that caught my attention was that the book seems to leave out a very important part: the detail of Five's origin. Hopefully this will come later in the series. What I really liked while reading the book was that almost the entire book was action-packed. But, I didn't really enjoy the parts where Ella was captured by the Mogadorians and put into the space ship.      What I really found interesting was that the author wants us to belive something very important. So first off, in this book a character, 4, has a vision of another character, Ella, executing the other characters of the books while being brainwashed by her captor. In the book, Ella is captured and put on a spaceship. I belive that the writer wants s to think that Ella will end up fighting back and not being brainwashed. Yet, I belive she will end up having to die by the hands of her former allies. This would end up really

Free Post- About Myself

My name is Jack Safer, and this is my blog. Here I will discuss whatever my English teacher assigns. Today I will just talk about myself and how I feel about my new English class. So, first off, I play soccer and I do track and field. Now, onto the english class.      To start things off, my main expections about the class. My first one is reading. I really do enjoy books when they're interesting. I could read the book just for fun if it was good, even if it's a school book. My last expectation is being able to manage homework with all of my other classes. English has never been one of my "hard" subjects, so I hope this doesn't change. And now onto my concerns. When going into this class, I was really hoping that 8th grade was final shakespear expirence for a year or two; then I heard from the 10th graers that there is extremely hard shakespear writings we have to read. My other concern is keeping up with the whole blogging thing. I just don't enjoy blo
